2008 Beijing Olympic Women's Basketball (Aug 11, 2008)
Winning the Olympics has always been considering the highest accolade in international basketball and the United States team began their Olympics with a comfortable victory over the Czech Republic, 97-57. Since the introduction of women’s basketball at the 1976 Summer Olympics at Montreal, the United States have been the team to beat, and victory at Beijing would make it four Olympics in a row. President George W. Bush and family, and the United States men’s basketball team, watched the team on to victory.
