Noon, Friday May 9,2008, Royal Ploughing Ceremony Day, a national holiday in Thailand. Our Girl Friday Fon said she was hungry and wanted to eat fish for lunch. We said OK and headed over to Laguna Seafood at The Food Court on Sukhumvit Soi 7, Bangkok,where we knew the fish would be fresh. Fon ordered the steamed Tub Tim with lemon sauce and the spicy oyster salad. Delicious.
After lunch we had a beer in the Bier Garden, across the Soi from the Food Court, while we waited for another Tub Tim to go, for Fon and her roommates.
Hold on tight girl those motorcycle taxi drivers are daredevils.
It was Friday, a holiday, the beginning of a 3 day weekend, and the living was easy.
