We the boys of IIIT kolkata went on SIKKIM tour this nov-dec 2007 ..
It was a gr8 tour .. and mindblowing also ..
touring Sikkim in chilling cold of December was an awesome experience..
We visited Gangtok, Pelling , Then Dooars (jalpaigudi) .. In Dooars we made a Jungle Safari but it was a waste as we managed to see only one Elephant.. Anyway now sharing some cool pics of our gr8 and memorable tour.

this is one of few points which we have termed as Death Valley. The pic is not clear as i took it from moving bus. The road is completely damaged by landslide. It was very scary as well as exciting to cross these kinda suicide points

kanchenjunga Peak from Pelling
This images was taken at my Hotel Balcony in Pelling . This is a zoomed image and the actual distance of The Queen(Kanchanjunga) is quite far from the Pelling Hill.

This is the evening view of The Queen. we were waiting from 4 PM to get a single view but bcoz of heavy clouds managed to get only this view only around 6 PM .. See the sunlight still on the Kanchanjunga Peak.
