We the boys of IIIT kolkata went on SIKKIM tour this nov-dec 2007 ..
It was a gr8 tour .. and mindblowing also ..
touring Sikkim in chilling cold of December was an awesome experience..
We visited Gangtok, Pelling , Then Dooars (jalpaigudi) .. In Dooars we made a Jungle Safari but it was a waste as we managed to see only one Elephant.. Anyway now sharing some cool pics of our gr8 and memorable tour.

The green color drink which my friend is holding is called SOUFI. a local made drink and believe me it only take 3 peg of this drink to get u on a high .. ;) .. i mean its a cool and gr8 drink with good taste of Souf.

This dog is cute naa... we saw this Dog in Bhutan border area...Its a hill dog with soft hairs .. it looks very cute.. the long hairs protect it from the chilling cold there.

Hydroelectric Power Dam at Indo-Bhutan Border
This Dam is situated in the border of India and Bhutan. The other aside of the dam is Bhutan. Its is used for producing hydroelectric power to Bhutan and the state of Sikkim.

In sikkim if u go to some more remote hills u will see orange trees in mostly every home there.. I guess the cold climate suites the orange trees there.
