Aspendos, another fantastic relic of Greco-Roman civilization is based within the province of Antalya, 2 and a half miles north of Serik.
Known to have the best preserved theatre of antiquity which provided seating to up to 7,000 revellers, Aspendos now also hosts an International Ballet Festival which has run since 1994 and therefore something for everyone from the amateur archaeologist to the ballet enthusiast.
