There is a furor going on about a Thai newpaper publishing a picture of the dead body of David Carradine when he was found hanged in Suite Room 352 of the Nai Lert Park Hotel Bangkok
It is one thing for someone to promote or some event image to be published for commercial and business reasons
But the release of the image by the Thai newspaper is arguably a step to far, and allowing for an image to be released in this case, could create a multifold reaction which could cover a number of emotions – distress – exploitation – release for monetary gain and reward et al
Let us hope that the image is not released wholesale across the Internet, Media, TV etc
Thankfully lawyers have now got involved to hopefully prevent that happening
Lawyer Quote :-
A lawyer for Carradine’s family said that “The family is outraged about the release of these photos” and that the family will sue for invasion of privacy and emotional distress if the David Carradine death photo is run in a United States publication
One has to assume that we will be in the minority who wish for the image NOT to be released for widespread distribution
But that is our considered opinion here at City Journalist Directory re this respective event
