The Chinese market is being hit by counterfeit fake condoms being sold in thousands of outlets throughout the country

Features :-

• Chinese authorities claim that up to one-third of all the 2 billion condoms used in China each year may be fake!

• Several manufacturers in China have been busted for making counterfeit condoms that make for some pretty "unsafe" sex

• Many of the counterfeit condoms themselves were found to spread infectious diseases due to lack of sterilization

• The makers of the fake condoms package the counterfeits to resemble that of makers like Trojan, Durex and Rough Rider

• Users who have been tricked to buy the fakes have reported that when the condoms are used the rubber breaks

• Factories were found lubricating them with common vegetable oil before placing them, unsterilized, in their wrapping

• In November 2009 police in Hunan Province said they made a raid on a factory that had made 2.16 million unsterilized condoms since March 2009
