In atrocious weather during Typhoon Morakot.

The winds had so much speed they created turmoil on the ground

The wind strengths continued to increase and toppled over:-

• Hotel Jinshuai

• Six Story Hotel

• It started to lean at 20 degrees from vertical after floods washed away land around the foundations and all guests and staff evacuated the building

• It collapsed around noon

• All the guests and staff at the hotel had been evacuated to safety before it toppled

• Typhoon Morakot has been flooding the area with torrential rains for days
