Behind all the street demonstrations and the turmoil in Tehran

In the heart of Iran gathered in the holy Shiite city of Qom another play is unfolding as the Clerics are debating who is going to be the ‘Top Cleric’

This is where the real battleground for power is unfolding

The dueling Clerics are :-

• Grand Ayatollah Hossein-Ali Montazeri, a founder of the Islamic republic
• Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani
• Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani
• Reports assess that the Clerics are split roughly 50/50 on who they support
• One assumes the Clerics are dividing up what is in it for them, to support one side or the other


The Public Leaders in Tehran, ie the puppets of the Clerics are :-
• Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
• President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
• Mir Hussein Musavi aka Mousavi

The stakes are high as they need to settle down the general public who have been demonstrating against Ahmadinejad saying his election victory was rigged and that the vote count was corrupted by the goons who work for Ahmadinejad.

Mir Hussein Mir is saying he was the vote winner, but as we have highlighted the real directives and decisions will unfold and be endorsed and implemented from Qom
