Radislav Krstic the notorious Serbian Warlord was savagely attacked by three Muslim prisoners who slit open his throat in high security Wakefield Prison

Radislav Krstic is in critical condition in hospital after the attack. The 62 year old Krstic is serving a 35 year sentence for war crimes, he was convicted for his leading role in the massacre of 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys in Srebrenica in July 1995.

The Serbs are despised by Bosnian Muslims and this attack will be a huge embarrassment to the British Authorities who will be enquiring with the Prison Governor and the guards how a high risk prisoner was attacked in one of Britain’s top high security jails

Tensions between inmates will have been raised inside Wakefield Prison and attacks could escalate between Christians and Muslims. The three Muslims who gouged the throat open of Radislav Krstic in this murder attempt, will be targeted for revenge attacks.

The prison is in lockdown mode in attempt to prevent more attacks, and time will be needed to ensure the jail returns to normal operating conditions. The lockdown is also needed as the guards search to find the attack weapon

Radislav Krstic was in cell - D320. when he was attacked by the men who had as a weapon a ‘Shiv’ a popular attack tool in UK Prisons. The ‘Shiv’ a razor blade embedded in the handle of a plastic toothbrush these weapons are lethal. They wielded the ‘Shiv’ on Krstic in cell – D320 when they ripped open his throat Kristic bled profusely and was unconscious when found by the prison guards

Radislav Krstic a former high ranking officer in the Bosnian Serb Army was the number 2 in command reporting to General Ratko Mladic, who is still on the run from war crimes investigators
