Pablo Picasso Self-Portrait with Palette, 1906 Oil on canvas, 92 x 73cm Philadelphia Museum of Art Despite only being 25, this painting shown here is the last self-portrait he ever painted. Picasso's recent study of ancient sculpture from the Iberian Peninsula is evident in the highly stylised facial features, such as the large-almond eyes and sharply carved face.
