With gasoline near $5 a gallon in the USA the SUV has become a Dinosaur headed for extinction. Vespa sales meanwhile are soaring in America. Up over 100% from a year ago. They're hip and cool now and get over 60 miles to a gallon of gas. The larger sized SUV's get under 10 miles to a gallon of gas. There are always winners and losers. Americans are now forced to downsize due to the financial crisis brought about by the worst administration in the history of America.
