It’s now, over 1 year since Victor Bout was tricked into an arrest trap in Bangkok, Thailand in February 2008.

Victor Bout, a 42-year-old Russian, was arrested last March in Bangkok by American agents while allegedly discussing the sale of shoulder-launched missiles with US agents camouflaged as Colombian rebels from FARC.

What will the outcome of his future be?

The diplomatic rhetoric is sizzling with input coming both from the Russian Government wanting Bout’s release

Whereas the USA Government is applying pressure to try and get Bout extradited from Thailand to USA, where he would be put on trial.
