Contributing Photographer Artist

CJD is proud to host Bob's enchanting images of The American Pastime. His Bubble Gum Heroes exhibit is now enhanced with eleven new works of his brilliant and colorful art. The one time "Bonus Baby", never made it to " The Show", due to a career ending injury, but he never lost his deep love for the game. He shares those feeling through his art. He worked as a Teamster in San Francisco California to support his large family and did not achieve recognition until he was 63 years old. Another true working class hero.
Thank you , Bob

The process of monoprint is to transfer original drawing to a plexiglass plate. Etching inks are applied using a 3-color process (red, yellow and blue)and the plate is placed face down on the printing paper and run through the etching press, once for each color appliation. This results in one original and unique print.
I'm originally attracted to the composition, dynamics of a scene, such as "Free Pass" or "October Classic". The most dramatic aspect of monoprint is the unpredictable nature of the process.
